Data/ cloud engineer for a global telecom company!

You'll be a part of the cloud team, which collaborates with teams in other nations. This team is creating a new modern platform in AWS that the rest of the company will use as a foundation for building platforms of their own. They use agile methodology and hold standup meetings each morning. In the team, there are a lot of talented seniors who you could learn from. The group has a very open atmosphere; if you enter with great humility and ask many questions, you will receive a large amount of help.

The capabilities of our client's platform need to be improved with machine learning services, big data processing (Glue/EMR), real-time streaming (Kinesis/Kafka), data governance, better CI/CD, and guidelines and support for some of the data architecture and best practices queries. Your job would be to concentrate on achieving that in cooperation with members of your team, and other groups. Together with traditional data capabilities, we are enabling machine learning and real-time streaming. Your closest colleagues will be Cloud Platform Engineers, Cloud DevSecOps Engineers, Infrastructure & Security architects, AWS and Redshift designers and so on.

Your duties will also be to:

• Work with your stories
• Assist with platform operations
• Work with requirements
• Have standups every morning with the team
• Work with data warehouse

• Have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer technology, data engineering or equally from a university or equivalent
• A great interest in Big Data
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud solutions
• Fluent in English in both speaking and writing
